Our terms and conditions comply with UK legislation and are designed to ensure that our customers can shop online easily and with confidence at The Pickled Shop®. These terms and conditions only apply to web site sales.

Refund/Returns Policy and Order Cancellation
We are pleased to offer a no-quibble refund and returns policy (which is in addition to your statutory rights).
If you're not happy with your purchase, we are happy to refund you provided you notify us before, or within 7 days after delivery. You will receive a full refund of your money as a credit onto your payment card. Please note you will be responsible for the return postage costs. Please contact us at email@example.com for further information. Should you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched we will provide you with a full refund onto your payment card.
Should you wish to cancel your order before delivery please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please outline clearly in your email the reason you are requesting a refund or cancellation of your order to allow us to continue to improve our service and products. We will include a return address label with each order for your convenience.
All prices are in £ sterling. Additional packaging and delivery charges may apply and this will be clearly marked on the website where relevant. Prices may be subject to change without notice, but we will only alter the price after we have confirmed your order, if it is to your benefit.
Whilst this website is designed with UK customers in mind, we welcome enquiries from customers in other countries. Prices include UK Sales Tax (VAT), currently at 20%, where applicable, which may not be payable by foreign customers; however, additional delivery charges will usually apply. Please call or email and we will do our best to assist.
You may pay by any major credit card or debit card if ordering online or by telephone. We also accept Apple Pay. If you choose to pay online by credit/debit card, we will only charge your card upon despatch of goods.
Items shown on this website may not always be in stock. If any of your chosen items is not in stock, you will be advised of our best estimate of availability and delivery date at the time you place your order. Please note that an indication of such dates is an estimate only, may be subject to change without notice, and does not constitute a contractual obligation by The Pickled Shop to supply goods by a certain date. However, if availability is unduly delayed, we will use our best endeavours to keep you informed.
Delivery costs £5 for all orders (UK mainland only). For orders outside of the UK Mainland please contact email@example.com or call 01780 450774. Orders before 2pm to receive the order next day. Orders made after 2pm will be delivered the following day (excluding weekends and bank holidays). We aim to get your order to you with the timeframe outlined above. Someone will need to be available during working hours to sign for your delivery. Occasionally there are circumstances beyond our control that will affect the timings of deliveries. In this case, we will endeavour to keep you informed of any delays. Any claims for shortages or breakages must be made within 72 hours of delivery by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 01780 450774.
We welcome international enquiries and ask that in these cases you contact us by email or phone for onward shipping costs to other locations.
Shortages or breakages
All goods are examined in detail prior to despatch to ensure that they leave us in perfect condition. However, shortages or breakages unfortunately can occur. At the time of delivery, we ask that you check the goods for any obvious damages or shortages. If damages or shortages are apparent, sign for the goods as damaged. The details of any shortages or damages must then be notified to us in writing within 72 hours of delivery. Otherwise, you shall be deemed to have accepted the goods and shall be bound to pay for the goods as detailed on the delivery note.
Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions and no amendments will be accepted by us. These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights.
These terms and conditions only cover The Pickled Shop web site. Any other web sites to which you link from this site may be governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content of web sites which are not under our control.
We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that we do not file copies of customer contracts.
